I've been here three years. I literally trained the guy they just promoted.When I asked why I didn't get it, they told me I need to “work on my leadership presence.” But when I speak up in meetings, I'm “too assertive.” When I don't, I'm “too quiet.” I'm starting to realize there's no right way to be because they were never going to pick me anyway. Has this happened to you? I need to know if I'm overthinking this or if I should just start looking for a new job.
